Can I paint over it after it dries?+
Yes β once fully dry, the surface accepts any wall paint just like the surrounding plaster. Use the same colour as your wall for an invisible repair. Small nail-hole patches often blend in without painting, especially on light-coloured walls.
How big a hole can it fill?+
It handles nail holes, screw holes, hairline cracks, pipe gaps, and small dents up to a few centimetres across. For larger holes (fist-sized or bigger), you'd need a wall patch mesh underneath. For the 95% of household wall damage that's small holes and cracks, this clay covers it perfectly.
Will it crack or fall out over time?+
When applied properly β pressed firmly into a clean, dust-free surface β the clay bonds securely and stays flexible enough to resist hairline movement. It won't shrink, crack, or crumble like cheap fillers. For best results, fill slightly proud and smooth flush once it starts setting.
Does the clay dry out in the tub?+
Keep the lid sealed tightly after each use and the clay stays soft and workable for months. If the surface dries slightly, knead it between your fingers for a few seconds β it softens right back up. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight for longest shelf life.
Does it work on bathroom and kitchen walls?+
It works on all standard wall surfaces β plaster, concrete, drywall, and painted walls. For wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens, seal the dried repair with a coat of waterproof paint to protect against moisture. The clay itself fills the gap; the paint seals it against water.
