How fast does it actually work?+
Light surface rust dissolves in 2β3 minutes. Medium rust takes 5β10 minutes. Heavy, deep corrosion may need 15β20 minutes or a second application. You'll see the rust changing colour as it dissolves β that's the formula working.
Will it damage the metal underneath?+
No β the formula targets iron oxide (rust) specifically without attacking the healthy metal underneath. It's safe for steel, iron, chrome, and most common metals. Avoid prolonged contact with aluminium or copper β test on a small area first for non-ferrous metals.
Can I use it on painted or coated surfaces?+
The spray is designed for bare metal surfaces. On painted metal, it may affect the paint around the rusted area. For rust spots on painted surfaces (car body, furniture), apply carefully only to the rusted spot and wipe away from the painted area.
Will the rust come back after treatment?+
The spray leaves a light protective layer that slows re-rusting. For long-term prevention, apply a coat of rust-resistant paint or oil after the metal is clean and dry. In humid or outdoor conditions, periodic re-application keeps rust from returning.
Can I use it to free stuck or frozen bolts?+
